The guy talks, shows you information, you copy his code. Not saying that websites like Udemy are trash…But their teaching, to mee, lack of substance. I’m just shocked about the fact that me, in only 250 hours, I should have learned C# foundamental (OOP), HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Angular…It was impossible…I can’t understand how in the world the other 11 participants did understand the topics.Ĭonsidering for example that FreeCodeCamp has estimated that to learn HTML & CSS + JavaScript takes at least 900 Yes. Now, after 6 months since I had given up to my old job due to internal problems, I’m in the condition where I can learn things by myself, taking my times (thanks to FreeCodeCamp, which gave me a track about the project I should follow). Unfortunately, compared to other people, I need more time to understand and put all the pieces together. He explained again what I did not understand and despite that, I had difficulty understanding, unable to put all the pieces well. I was the only one who raised his hand to ask explaination on most of the concepts, I kept interrupting the professor and asking for explanations. It seemed I was the only one who couldn’t understand… I gave up the day he introduced Interfaces and Enheritance about Interfaces. We were working (with other 11 people in the classroom) on a Teacher’s project and to me it was so hard. There were so many new things in my head and I couldn’t keep up of them. Morover, I had enough lack about how a Reference Type work. For example, during the 250 hours C # / Angular course, in a single day the teacher talked about Inheritance and Polymorphism, introducing things like Abstract, Override, Virtual methods and so on. Only been using Anki for a little over 6 months so still fairly new and am probably missing some obvious ones here.Yes, unfortunately I am slow enough to understand new things. It did slow down the program for me though, so recommend downloading it, trashing whatever tags you need to, and then inactivating it.ĪutoHotKey: Not an Anki add-on, but I use it as way to quickly put symbols (arrows, alpha, beta, etc) or other things in my cards Tag Tweaks updates the sidebar whenever you remove a tag. Tag Tweaks: Throughout first year I just kinda accumulated a bunch of useless tags and even though I can remove the tag from all the cards, it still clogs up my sidebar even though there are no longer any cards associated with it. Although will admit that if you've been using 1234 for a while it takes some time to get used to. Handy Answer Keys Shortcuts: Maps answer keys to j,k,l, instead of 1234 which is closer to the space bar and great if you're right handed. Think its a better way to organize your cards versus having multiple subdecks Hierarchical Tags: Other popular one and you probably already got it if you're using Bros deck, but definitely recommend. This was a godsend for me in terms of learning anatomy and occasionally histology Image Occlusion Enhanced: Very popular one, if you don't have it, get it. Figure both new and veteran users could benefit.Īnyways here are some of my favorite add ons: So thought it might be helpful to have a thread of Anki add-ons people have found useful (or maybe not-so-useful).
